Command Line Interface (CLI)
Okustera supports terminal infrastructure management using the standard OpenStack Unified CLI ecosystem (openstack command suite). A dedicated standalone okustera / omc developer CLI is also on the active platform roadmap.
Setting up OpenStack CLI
The OpenStack Unified CLI suite provides direct terminal orchestration for compute (Nova), networking (Neutron), block storage (Cinder), and Kubernetes clusters (Magnum).
1. Installation
# Using pip / pipx
pip install python-openstackclient python-magnumclient python-cinderclient
2. Authentication with openrc.sh
Download your environment configuration file from the Okustera Cloud Portal or create okustera.env:
export OS_AUTH_URL="https://iam.okustera.com:5000/v3"
export OS_PROJECT_ID="tenant-production"
export OS_PROJECT_NAME="production"
export OS_USER_DOMAIN_NAME="Default"
export OS_PROJECT_DOMAIN_ID="default"
export OS_USERNAME="<USERNAME>"
export OS_PASSWORD="<PASSWORD>"
export OS_REGION_NAME="RegionOne"
export OS_INTERFACE="public"
export OS_IDENTITY_API_VERSION=3
Source the file:
source okustera.env
